NASHVILLE SOUTH

Nashville South is a culturally and historically rich mixed-use area comprised of a collection of unique communities ranging from urban to suburban.

The Adventure Science Center, Trevecca Nazarene University, and nearby 100 Oaks attract visitors from across the city and region, and the redevelopment of the Fairgrounds to a Major League Soccer complex will elevate the area on a global scale.  The emerging Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood (WeHo) is staking its claim as a “maker community” with a do-it-yourself culture blending design, technology, and small-scale manufacturing with creativity.

Development mixes offices, retail, and housing to produce everything from electronics, printing, technology, music, food, film, metalworking, woodworking, artisan goods, and traditional arts and crafts One of South Nashville South’s greatest strengths, in the regional setting, is its convenient location. The proximity of the community to downtown, four interstates (I-24, I-40, I-440, and I-65), and other major corridors provide quick travel to other areas of the city and interconnectedness to the rest of the region.
