NASHVILLE HICKORY

HOLLOW

In the late 1970s and 1980s, the Hickory Hollow Mall was a primary retail center located in Southeast Davidson County, just off Interstate 24.

It was a regional mall that drew from a primary trade area of 20 miles and a secondary trade area of 40 miles, reaching as far south as the city of Murfreesboro with some people traveling from even further away.

The Mall and area around it have transformed over the years and are now seeing new life infused with mixed-use development fueled by public and private investments, such as a new public library, Nashville State’s Community College Southeast Campus, and the Nashville Predators Ford Ice Center.
